Mr. Soran is professional in the field of finance and accounting, with a strong academic foundation and extensive industry experience. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of Portsmouth. Following his undergraduate studies, Mr. Soran ventured into the world of finance as a financial advisor, gaining valuable insights and practical knowledge. Mr. Soran pursued a Master's degree in Finance, specializing in valuation and risk assessment within the stock market. Throughout his career, Mr. Soran has held various roles in finance and accounting, ranging from being an accountant to a financial consultant. His academic life took two different routes in United Kingdom, first traditional, BA, MSc and PhD then professional development, start from Bookkeeping, AAT and ACCA exams. This lead him to expert in Finance and Certified in Accounting.
In 2019, Mr. Soran took a significant step by founding his investment and financial consulting company, "Rozhi Spi." Through Rozhi Spi, he has been instrumental in creating opportunities for small investors while facilitating access to capital for businesses and individuals alike. This initiative reflects his commitment to fostering financial inclusivity and driving economic growth.
Recognizing his profound expertise and contributions to the field, Mr. Soran was promoted to Senior Lecturer at the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani (AUIS) in 2022. In this role, he imparts his knowledge and experience to the next generation of finance professionals, inspiring them to excel in the dynamic world of finance.
Mr. Soran's extensive professional journey and academic pursuits have shaped his areas of expertise. He has a keen interest in microfinance, recognizing its potential to empower communities and drive economic development at the grassroots level. Additionally, his specialization in business valuation and risk assessment equips him with the tools to make informed financial decisions in an ever-changing market landscape.
Currently, Mr. Soran is actively engaged in doctoral research, working towards completing his Ph.D. in Microfinance. His research endeavors aim to contribute valuable insights to this critical field, further advancing our understanding of financial inclusion and its societal impact.
