The application process is quite simple:
01
STEP 1 Submit your application here.
02
STEP 2 As you fill out the application, you will need to register for the English placement test that will determine your English level. Choose a date that works for you. For international school graduates (or those who finished schools in the UK or US), you are exempt from the test and can skip steps #2-4.
03
STEP 3 Take the English language placement test at AUIS (free of charge) or or submit an official English language test result (IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo, see our English language test requirements) Your English language score will determine whether you are ready to start in the Undergraduate (UG) programs at once or whether you need to start with our Academic Preparatory Program (APP).
04
STEP 4 Once you take the test, you will receive your test score and the test certificate by email from the AUIS Admissions office, along with the invitation to come to the Enrollment session, where all final questions can be answered and study contracts can be signed.
05
STEP 5 International school graduates/students who finished school abroad need to submit their diploma equalization (AUIS prepares the support letter that you need to take to the Ministry of Education - Azmoonakan office in Erbil, along with your diploma and transcripts). For more information, please read this international student criteria document
06
STEP 6 Attend the Enrollment session, submit your final diploma and grades, sign the study contract, and start your studies at AUIS. For students who will start studies in September, a conditional contract will be signed before the final grades can be submitted.
