ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT
Each BA program* has entry requirements based on the eligibility scores set by the Ministry of Education. For the Iraqi students, final high school exam results are considered.
Please check the requirements below
For vocational or institute graduates, please contact the Admissions office to confirm the academic requirements relevant to your educational background.

For international school graduates, after your application to AUIS, you will need to equalize your high school certificate at the KRG Directorate of Exams (Azmoonakan office). Your AUIS Admissions Counselor will guide you through this process.

Since AUIS is an American university, all education is done in English language only. Therefore, an English language test is required of all applicants, unless they finished an international highschool. The placement test is done at AUIS, free of charge.

Based on the placement score, students will be either able to start undergraduate program (UG) studies at once or will need Academic Preparatory Program (APP).

English test requirement for UG:
TOEFL iBT   72
IELTS           6.5
