Dr. Sarwar Abdullah Mohammed is an adjunct assistant professor holding a Ph.D. in Politics from Newcastle University in the UK. He joined Sulaimani University's Department of Politics and International Relations in 2018 to teach political economy, public policy and research methods. In 2021, he was appointed as a head of the department. He currently teaches the political economy of petro-states at AUIS.
His research interests revolve around good governance and corruption, public policy, and the political economy of oil governance.
