AUIS Hosts Partnership Signing to Advance Research on Migration and Environmental Challenges

On October 23, 2025, the American University of Sulaimani (AUIS), in partnership with Faruk Medical City (FMC), hosted a Pink October awareness event aimed at educating the AUIS community about breast cancer prevention and early detection.

The event featured a keynote presentation by Dr. Nariman Fattah, a renowned breast surgeon and specialist at Faruk Medical City, and Ms. Tavga Raaof and Ms. Lava Star provided participants with practical guidance on proper techniques and emphasized the importance of regular self-checks for early detection.
