On September 30, 2026, the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani (AUIS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the American Corner of Sulaymaniyah, marking a new chapter of collaboration between the two institutions.

Through the agreement, AUIS and the American Corner of Sulaymaniyah will collaborate on joint activities and initiatives aimed at expanding educational and engagement opportunities for students. The partnership will also include support for AUIS activities related to the Access Program, providing students with further opportunities to learn, engage, and develop their skills.
