The American University of Iraq, Sulaimani (AUIS) is pleased to participate in MEETS IRAQ, one of the region's leading exhibitions, taking place at the Erbil International Fair in Sami Abdulrahman Park.

From July 12–16, the Academic Preparatory Program (APP) delivered a high-impact Professional Business English Capacity-Building Crash Course designed exclusively for AUIS administrative staff. Led by ESL instructor Bradley Castner, the intensive five-day program brought together 22 participants from 11 key university departments, including Admissions, Information Technology, and Human Resources.

The Moulakis Library and the Kashkul Center for Arts and Culture at the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani (AUIS) hosted a thought-provoking conversation between AUIS President Dr. Bilal Wahab and researcher, author, and longtime Middle East analyst Dr. Joost Hiltermann. The event brought together members of the university community and the public for a discussion on the power of storytelling in preserving historical memory and confronting the enduring consequences of violence and displacement.

AUIS President Dr. Bilal Wahab welcomed Dr. Richard Sunderland, Country Director of the British Council Iraq, and Tanya Mahir Rashid, Head of Arts at the British Council, for a meeting focused on strengthening cultural partnerships and advancing the creative sector in the region. Representatives from the Kashkul Center for Arts and Culture at AUIS also participated in the discussion.

The Professional Development Institute (PDI) at the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani (AUIS) proudly launched the Executive Leadership Advanced Program for senior leaders at Faruk Investment Group, marking the beginning of a collaborative learning journey focused on leadership development, strategic vision, and organizational excellence.
