We are thrilled to announce that Takween Accelerator has once again secured a prestigious grant from the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) through the Financial Services Volunteer Corps (FSVC) for the second consecutive year. This exciting news is a testament to
last year's program's outstanding success and underscores our commitment to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic development in the region. This grant has been instrumental in fueling Takween Accelerator's mission to empower startups,
investors, and business mentors, driving the growth of the entrepreneurial ecosystem as part of the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani (AUIS) Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center (AEIC).
Last year's program witnessed remarkable achievements, with a cohort of startups making significant strides in their respective industries. The support from FSVC not only provided financial backing but also served as a catalyst for creating a vibrant community of
entrepreneurs, investors, and mentors. Building on this success, the upcoming year's activities will continue to focus on the following key pillars:

1. Startup Support Programs: Takween Accelerator remains dedicated to nurturing the next generation of innovative businesses. The grant will enable us to offer comprehensive support programs, including mentorship, training, and access to crucial resources for startups to thrive in a competitive market.

2. Investor Engagement: We recognize the pivotal role of investors in fueling the growth of startups. With MEPI and FSVC's support, we will continue to facilitate meaningful connections between startups and investors, fostering a dynamic investment landscape in the region.

3. Mentorship Initiatives: The grant will further strengthen our commitment to fostering a culture of mentorship. Experienced business leaders will continue to guide and support emerging entrepreneurs, sharing valuable insights and expertise to accelerate their growth.
As we embark on this exciting journey for the second consecutive year, we extend our gratitude to MEPI and FSVC for their unwavering support. Together, as AEIC and Takween Accelerator, we are determined to elevate the entrepreneurial landscape in the region, driving economic development and fostering a culture of innovation.

Stay tuned for updates on the upcoming programs, events, and success stories that will undoubtedly emerge from Takween Accelerator's continued partnership with FSVC. We look  forward to another year of empowering dreams, fostering growth, and building a resilient entrepreneurial ecosystem.
