Acuity International “We Share the Future” Scholarship
AUIS is pleased to announce the “We Share the Future” scholarship funded by Acuity International. This scholarship is part of the “We Share the Future” campaign to help develop and support the future workforce in the region and it is expected that other companies working in Iraq will join the campaign. The principal aim of this scholarship is to provide funding of both male and female students majoring in subjects named from time to time by the donors. The annual scholarship will cover tuition, dormitory fees, course related expenses including approved summer and winter classes, and off-campus study at other universities in accordance with University policy and contracts. The scholarship is for students who have declared their majors in Engineering, Software Engineering, Medical Lab Sciences and IT. Students must have completed between one and two years of undergraduate education at AUIS with at least one course in their declared major, which must be one of the approved majors - currently Engineering, Software Engineering, MLS or IT. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 is required. At least 50% of the recipients should be women.
Eligibility
- Completed at least 30 credits of undergraduate education at AUIS with a preference given to students closer to graduation.
- Minimum CGPA of 2.0, with at least one course in their declared major.
- Declared major one of the approved majors (Engineering, Software Engineering, Medical Lab Sciences and IT)
- Not already receiving a scholarship/sponsorship
- Active students with financial need
How to Apply
Applicants will be required to fill out an application through the Scholarship Office.
Selection Process
Final award will be selected by the AUIS Scholarship Committee based on the mentioned guidelines to the greatest extent practicable, in accordance with University Scholarship award procedures, subject to approval by the University.
