We will explore linguistics in society, linguistics in translation, linguistics and computers, and linguistics in literature. Come hear professional linguists speak about the kinds of questions they ask and how students at AUIS might use linguistics in their studies and careers.

Our seminar will offer short presentations on:

computational linguistics
sociolinguistics
linguistics in psychology and literature
linguistics in translation

We will have plenty of time for questions from the audience!
