The American University of Iraq, Sulaimani (AUIS) was pleased to host representatives from Pioneer Pharmaceuticals for a meaningful exchange on potential areas of collaboration.

The visit explored ways to strengthen the connection between academic preparation and industry needs, with a focus on how AUIS can continue supporting students as they prepare for the job market. Discussions highlighted AUIS’s commitment to producing graduates who are well-equipped to contribute effectively in professional environments.

AUIS President Dr. Bilal Wahab opened the meeting with an introduction to the university, its mission, and its ongoing efforts to align with innovation and excellence in education. The Pioneer team noted the strong performance of AUIS graduates currently employed at their company, recognizing them as some of their most valued team members.

The meeting concluded with discussions on internship and connection proposals with companies, aimed at providing students with practical experiences that bridge classroom learning and industry practice.
