The President of the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani (AUIS) attended the Asiacell ASAS Internship Graduation Ceremony 2025, held as part of Asiacell’s Training and Development initiatives. The event marked the completion of the ASAS Internship Program, a nationwide initiative designed to bridge academic learning with practical professional experience.

The ceremony brought together Asiacell leadership, university representatives, and students from across Iraq, including a strong group of AUIS participants. Presentations highlighted the program’s structure, growth, and impact between 2022 and 2025, followed by the distribution of certificates to graduating interns.

In his remarks, the AUIS President praised Asiacell’s commitment to youth development and emphasized the importance of practice-based learning in preparing students for the labor market. He highlighted the role of structured internships in building professional skills, empowering young people, and supporting national workforce development.

The President also commended the participation and achievements of AUIS students and encouraged wider adoption of similar initiatives to strengthen the link between education and employment in Iraq.
