American University of Iraq, Sulaimani (AUIS) hosted the iQ Group Summer Training Program for the second consecutive year, bringing together students from universities and institutes across Sulaimani for two months of practical, technology-focused training.

Held from July 1 to August 31, 2026, the program provided participants with hands-on learning opportunities led by technology professionals from iQ Group. Students gained practical experience across a range of fields, including IT and system administration, IP networking, access networks, transmission, cybersecurity, research and development, and software development.

Through specialized sessions and practical training, participants had the opportunity to connect their academic knowledge with real-world applications while developing skills relevant to the technology sector and gaining greater exposure to professional working environments.

The initiative reflected AUIS’s commitment to creating learning and development opportunities that extend beyond its own student community. By hosting programs that bring together students, professionals, and industry expertise, AUIS continues to support young people in developing practical skills, exchanging knowledge, and preparing for future academic and professional opportunities.
