Sherri Kraham Talabany is an American human rights lawyer, advocate, and international development and foreign policy professional with over twenty years experience working in international affairs. She served as a United States Government official from 1998 - 2012, as a senior manager, a foreign policy and economic development policy advisor, and as a program manager of governance, development, peace-keeping, post-conflict reconstruction, human rights, and humanitarian programs around the world. She is a fierce advocate and frequent public speaker for the rights of the most vulnerable and underserved including women, children, refugees, and survivors of violence, war, human trafficking, and persecution. In addition to being president of SEED Foundation, a local NGO whose mission is to support survivors of violence, she sits on several non-profit boards. She lives and works in Erbil, Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
