Omar joined the College of Dentistry at AUIS in February 2023. Since then, he has worked as a lab assistant, primarily responsible for basic science and dental laboratories, as well as department assignments.

Omar holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S) from the University of Sulaimani. Prior to his current position, he worked for three years as a dentist, working in various healthcare settings.
