Profile

Matt Peszek joined AUIS in 2013. He holds an M.A. in Art History, B.G.S (General Studies), TESOL and CELTA certificates, and a Cert IBET (Certificate in International Business English Training).  He has also completed an M.Ed with a focus on teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL).

He has previously taught in secondary and postsecondary institutions in the United States and South Korea and has completed professional language/teacher certification courses in Poland, Germany, and Hungary.

In addition to teaching EAP courses in the Academic Preparatory Program, Matt has also taught art history in the undergraduate program. He has also served as a conference panelist, facilitated and co-facilitated professional development sessions, and conducted workshops related to teacher training.
