Kazi Kamal is a senior Laboratory Teaching Assistant in the Medical Health Sciences Department at the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani (AUIS), where she supports laboratory instruction, student training, and research in Hematology, Immunology, Microbiology, and Molecular Biology. Alongside her academic role, she also works as a Laboratory Scientist at Hiwa Cancer Hospital.

Kazi earned her B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Science with a minor in Business Administration from AUIS. She has extensive experience in diagnostic testing, clinical chemistry, hematology, and blood banking, with prior roles at Shorsh General Teaching Hospital.

Beyond the lab, Kazi serves on the organizing committee of the Kurdistan Health Summit and is the founder and supervisor of the Code Blue student club, which promotes public health awareness and professional development among students.
