AUIS Hosts Model UN Training and Simulation Conference on Global Security

The AUIS Model UN Club, in collaboration with the Law Department, successfully hosted a Model United Nations Training and Simulation Conference on campus, bringing together students for a day of diplomatic debate and hands-on learning.
The conference centered on the critical topic: "The Role of the International Community in Preventing the Resurgence of ISIS." Participants stepped into the roles of UN delegates, engaging in structured debate, negotiation, and resolution drafting to explore how global cooperation can address one of the region’s most pressing security concerns.
This event provided a dynamic platform for students to develop public speaking, policy analysis, and diplomacy skills, while also deepening their understanding of international relations and security. It was an excellent example of AUIS’s commitment to experiential learning and student leadership.
