Dr. Hareim Hadi Hassan is a Kurdish-Canadian Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Science at the American University of Iraq–Sulaimani. He holds a Ph.D. in Argumentation Studies from the University of Windsor, Canada, where his dissertation Political Extremism: An Argumentative Approach examined radical discourse through the lens of argumentation theory. He also earned an MA in Political Science from Simon Fraser University and an MBA in International Management and Leadership (double degree: AUIS & Hochschule Furtwangen University).
