Profile

Aram completed his M.Eng. and Ph.D. studies in Civil and Structural Engineering from University of Liverpool in the UK. He is a Chartered Civil Engineer (CEng) from the Intuition of Civil Engineers and has a wide range of experience in academia and industry. Aram has also worked for a number of years as a Bridge Engineer in the UK and is specialized in highways infrastructure design and management.

Areas of research relevant to Aram's work and practical experience include ultra high performance fibre reinforced concrete (UHPFRC) for bridge applications, shear capacity of high strength fibre reinforced concrete and finite element modelling for nonlinear solids, i.e. cementitious materials. Aram has excellent knowledge in non-linear finite element modelling using various software such as Abaqus, Ansys and Midas.

Aram has published in a number of international journals and his research work has been cited worldwide.
