About PDI

 

The Professional Development Institute (PDI) at AUIS was established in 2011 to offer executive education and professional services for individuals, businesses, and, both government and non-governmental organizations in Iraq and across the region. Through a variety range of training programs and tailored solutions, PDI seeks to bring the full range of expertise available at AUIS to satisfy the learning needs of individuals and businesses. Our highly proficient and experienced trainers and faculty are committed to provide professional development courses of the highest quality. PDI provides professional development courses on topics in various areas, including English language studies and management and business training. 
PDI was named the first Authorized Training Partner (ATP) certified institution in Iraq by the Project Management Institute (PMI)® in 2021 for delivering PMP® training. PDI has met PMI's rigorous quality criteria for becoming an ATP. The Project Management Institute (PMI)® is the world´s largest project management member association.

Our Mission

The mission of the PDI is to promote the development of skills and competencies in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI), as well as the wider regions of Iraq through providing top-quality professional development and consulting services to individuals and businesses in private, public and non-governmental sectors. PDI aspires to prepare individuals and businesses with skills needed for the future and consequently to contribute to human capacity development in the KRI and Iraq.
