PDI Conducted Judgment in Managerial Decision-Making Workshop for SEED Foundation in Sulaimani

As part of its continuous efforts to support professional capacity development in the region, PDI delivered a tailored one-day Judgment in Managerial Decision-Making Workshop for SEED foundation in Sulaimani. The workshop took place at the American University of Iraq on February 6, 2024. The workshop provided comprehensive, both academic and practical knowledge.

Delivered by P|DI trainer Rava Khrshid, the purpose of the workshop was to equip top management with the essential skills and insights needed to make effective judgments and decisions in the dynamic and complex work environment. Additionally, the workshop provided participants with a deep understanding of decision-making models, cognitive biases and heuristics affecting decision-making, the motivational and emotional influences on decision-making, and ethical decision-making considerations.
The learning objectives of the workshop were to understand the importance of decision-making processes and the basic principles behind them. Moreover, understanding Decision-Making models, identifying and evaluating psychological factors as well as developing strategies to mitigate the impact of biases on judgment, were other keys to the learning objective of the program.
