To strengthen the long-standing partnership between the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani (AUIS) and the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ), a delegation from GIZ visited the University and engaged with faculty and staff members. The meeting focused on exploring ways to support and enhance Iraq's entrepreneurial ecosystem, building on both past achievements and future opportunities. 

Discussions emphasized the transformative role of digital innovation and artificial intelligence in shaping the future of entrepreneurship and driving job creation across the country. The GIZ delegation was warmly received by the Takween team and a group of AUIS Entrepreneurship Fellows, reflecting the collaborative spirit and shared commitment to fostering innovation and growth in Iraq.
