The American University of Iraq, Sulaimani (AUIS) Medical & Health Sciences, in collaboration with the Class for Life institution, recently conducted a free Basic Life Support (BLS) training for staff and faculty members. This initiative aimed to equip participants with essential life-saving skills, ensuring they are prepared to respond effectively in emergency situations. 
The training covered fundamental techniques such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). By providing hands-on experience and expert instruction, the program enhanced participants' confidence in handling medical emergencies both within and beyond the AUIS community. 
This collaboration reflects AUIS’s commitment to fostering a safe and well-prepared campus environment. Through such initiatives, the university continues to prioritize the health and well-being of its faculty, staff, and students.
