We are thrilled to announce that Takween Accelerator has once again secured a prestigious grant from the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) through the Financial Services Volunteer Corps (FSVC) for the second consecutive year. This exciting news is a testament to
last year's program's outstanding success and underscores our commitment to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic development in the region. This grant has been instrumental in fueling Takween Accelerator's mission to empower startups,
investors, and business mentors, driving the growth of the entrepreneurial ecosystem as part of the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani (AUIS) Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center (AEIC).
Last year's program witnessed remarkable achievements, with a cohort of startups making significant strides in their respective industries. The support from FSVC not only provided financial backing but also served as a catalyst for creating a vibrant community of
entrepreneurs, investors, and mentors. Building on this success, the upcoming year's activities will continue to focus on the following key pillars:
