The American University of Iraq, Sulaimani conducted a comprehensive teacher training program on March 6, 2025, titled " Artificial Intelligence- Transforming Your Class, Transforming Education" focused on artificial intelligence applications in education. The program brought together educators from primary through secondary levels to develop skills in integrating AI into instructional planning, teaching methodologies, and assessment development—enabling participants to navigate the evolving educational landscape.

Organized by the Academic Preparatory Program, this distinguished event welcomed over 120 educators from Sulaimani and surrounding regions, reflecting AUIS's commitment to educational excellence and contemporary practices. The training emphasized AI's potential as an accessible, cost-effective tool that can transform educational instruction while maintaining a student-centered approach to learning.
