Profile

Kajan is a lecturer at the AUIS College of Pharmacy, holding dual Austrian and Kurdish nationalities. She earned her BSc in Pharmacy and her MSc in Clinical Pharmacy, International Practice, and Policy from University College London (UCL). 

As an active member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) and the Syndicate of Kurdistan Pharmacists, Kajan is deeply committed to advancing the field of pharmacy. Prior to her role at AUIS, she spent over two years teaching at the Pharmacy Department of Komar University of Science and Technology. 

In addition to her academic responsibilities, Kajan manages her own pharmacy and has eight years of valuable experience in community pharmacy. She also has clinical experience as a clinical pharmacist in hospitals in the UK. Kajan joined AUIS as a full-time lecturer in September 2023, where she continues to inspire the next generation of pharmacists.
