The Lab Assistant will support faculty and students by preparing and maintaining dental laboratory materials, assisting in practical sessions, and ensuring a safe and well-organized learning environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning within the College of Dentistry.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and organize dental laboratory materials, instruments, and equipment for lectures and laboratory sessions.
  • Assist faculty members during practical exercises and demonstrations.
  • Support and guide students during laboratory activities while ensuring proper techniques and safety procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain laboratory inventory, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ensure the laboratory environment meets health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
  • Assist faculty with blended and distance-learning activities, as required.

 

Job Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery (BDS).
  • Demonstrated ability and commitment to supporting students’ academic, professional, and personal development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proven experience as a dental lab assistant or in a related field.
