The CENR is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Communications and Media Coordinator to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and creating engaging content for CENR’s social media platforms and newsletter, as well as handling external communications and inquiries received through the Center’s official email.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans that align with the Center’s goals and strategic objectives.
- Write, edit, and produce a range of content, including press releases, website articles, newsletters, and social media posts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries, coordinating interviews and maintaining strong relationships with journalists and media outlets.
- Plan and manage the communication components of events such as press conferences, promotional activities, and internal meetings.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness of communication and media campaigns, providing data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Job Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Proficiency with digital communication tools, platforms, and software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong strategic thinking abilities, with the capacity to develop communication plans aligned with organizational objectives.
- Creative mindset with the ability to produce engaging and innovative content.
- Experience in media relations, including managing press interactions and maintaining positive relationships with media outlets.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in Arabic and/or Kurdish is preferred.
Compensation: The compensation package is competitive and includes base salary and benefits.
