Kashkul is hiring an assistant to support our Digital Presence and Events Strategist. The assistant will help plan and
coordinate events, contribute to team discussions, and stay flexible and responsive during event planning and
execution. This is a short-term, full-time position focused on cultural programming and community engagement.


Responsibilities & duties:

  • Work closely with the Events Manager to ensure all plans align with Kashkul’s goals.
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing all Kashkul events and public programs.
  • Help with event setup, space preparation, technical needs, audience engagement, and on-site guest assistance during events.
  • Connect with the wider art community to identify partners and invite relevant individuals and groups.
  • Maintain clear communication with artists, guests, and collaborators.
  • Assist in designing talks, workshops, and projects to make sure they reflect the interests of artists and scholars, and the professional development of students and interns.
  • Assist in preparing funding applications for upcoming programs.
  • Support post-event reports, being organized about keeping a clear archive of all activities.


Required Qualifications:

  • ⁠Interest and background in cultural programming, contemporary arts, and academic collaboration.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and logistics.
  • Experience in event coordination.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including availability during evenings or weekends when events are held.
  • Professionalism in communicating with artists, scholars, and institutional partners.
  • Commitment to community engagement and inclusivity, especially in working with artists, students, and underrepresented groups.
