The "American University of Iraq Sulaimani" is currently hiring an experienced IT specialist to join our IT team and provide support services to students, faculty, and staff. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-level IT support across the University.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining computer hardware and software.
- Diagnose and resolve program and system failures related to laptops, printers, network connections, audio-visual equipment, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Monitor and promptly respond to incoming IT issue requests.
- Follow up on requests to ensure end-user satisfaction.
- Maintain and upgrade user PCs as needed.
- Proactively provide solutions to prevent problems in areas of responsibility.
- Assist with onboarding new users, including providing IT orientation in multiple languages.
- Familiarity with Zoom service and Google Workspace.
- Adaptability to new changes and willingness to engage in testing new technologies and ideas.
- Other responsibilities may include VoIP support, inventory tracking, and asset management. management
Education, Experience and Skills:
- Confident multitasking abilities, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Fluent proficiency in English, including speaking, writing, and reading. Knowledge of Kurdish and Arabic languages is a bonus.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule as required.
- Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues, tasks, and problems.
- Proficiency in assessing situations and making independent decisions to resolve issues.
- Ability to enhance the guest experience through exceptional customer service.
- Additional advantage if the candidate holds professional IT certifications, such as A+ and Network+.
