Dr. Sameh W. Al-Muqdadi is a Senior Fellow at IRIS focusing on energy, water, and sustainability. He has over twenty-five years of experience leading academic and development projects across Europe and the Middle East, with expertise in climate security, resource governance, and sustainable economic transitions. He is Managing Director of Relief International in Iraq, Chairman of the Sanad Organization for Economic Development, and Research Director of the Green Charter GC. Dr. Al-Muqdadi holds a PhD from TU Bergakademie Freiberg, Germany.
