During this roundtable, Sommer focused on the current situation within Iraq's disputed territories in terms of social and political developments and their impact on local governance. The discussion highlighted dynamics in several strategic localities, namely Sinjar, the Nineveh Plains, Kirkuk, and Khanaqin.
