Qutaiba Yaseen

Qutaiba Yaseen is a non-resident research fellow at IRIS contributing to the Iraq Economic Review focusing on the local economy in Najaf province. Qutaiba is a dentist working with the Iraqi Ministry of Health, where he manages the dental division of the Kufa health sector. He is a 2020 alumnus of the Iraq Leadership Fellowship and is passionate about developing the public health sector and addressing challenges in primary health care programs. Qutaiba has also served as a researcher and translator at the Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue, where he contributed to a project translating a series of political and social books related to Iraq. He is a founding member of the MOJA NGO in Najaf, which focuses on developing emerging political parties and strengthening democracy in Iraq.
