Honya Rashid Sharif is an ESL instructor in the Academic Preparation Program (APP) at AUIS. She holds a B.A. in English Language and Literature (General), 2019 and an M.A. in English Literary Studies (Novel) from the University of Sulaimani, 2023. Additionally, she is certified in pedagogical training for university learners, with a specialized focus on teaching students with learning disabilities. 

With over five years of experience in English language instruction, Honya has taught at various institutions, including the University of Sulaimani, Komar University, and several NGOs and educational institutes. Her research interests encompass a range of areas, including: 

- Postmodern literature 
- Literary theory and criticism 
- Transgressive fiction 
- Inclusive pedagogy
