The Institute for Regional and International Studies (IRIS) hosted the second session of the Iraq Leadership Fellows (ILF) Program at AUIS from March 5-7, 2018.

The ILF Program equips young, engaged Iraqis with skills on campaigning, community organizing, and advocacy techniques through training workshops led by international instructors. Through the course of the program, the nearly two dozen fellows who represent various ethnicities, sects, and professional backgrounds work on individual campaigns under the supervision and guidance of mentors.
Topics within the second session of the ILF Program focused on examining advocacy concepts, political mapping, government monitoring, as well as engagement with communities and the media to help fellows develop their campaigns.
