Dr. Choman Hardi's Insightful Contribution in Past Practitioner Residency Program at the Sié Center

On January 12th, Dr. Choman Hardi, CGDS director, joined the Sié Center in a discussion on feminist activism in Iraq. In the event titled 'Women’s Resistance: On the Page and on the Ground,' she discussed what it meant to be Kurdish and feminist in her home country and her transformation into an activist. Dr. Choman Hardi's engagement was part of the prestigious practitioner residency program, where distinguished individuals like her shared their expertise and experiences with students and faculty. These residency programs, which lasted for two weeks, facilitated the exchange of practical insights and expertise. During her stay, she engaged in a variety of activities, including teaching classes, delivering guest lectures, conducting public talks, sharing field experience, addressing policy challenges, and offering valuable career guidance to students. Her presence ensured that research remained relevant to contemporary policy issues and strategies.
