On November 11 2022, CGDS Director of Disability Studies Dr. Lynn Rose participated as one of the panelists in “Understanding and Advocating for University Students with Disabilities.” The panel discussion, on higher education access and accommodation in the global South, focused on the interchange of ideas between the global South and the global North. Along with conversation among the panelists and the audience, several videos were shown that highlighted the challenges and accomplishments of disability studies education in the MENA region and beyond. This panel was part of the seventh World Disability and Rehabilitation Professional Association conference, held via Zoom.
