On December 4, 2021, Dr. Lynn Rose, CGDS Director of Disability Studies, was the Chief Resource Person and Guest of Honor at the international webinar “Disability Perspectives of Gender Equality Women’s Empowerment,” organized by the School of Behavioural Sciences at the Mahatma Gandhi University in Kerala, India. Dr. Lynn presented inaugural remarks, followed by “Gender/Disability Intersectionality,” In which she presented several concepts and models of the intersections between disability and gender. Other sessions included discussions of disability and law, disability administration, and disability and creativity. There were about 30 audience members from Mahatma Gandhi University.
