On 21 November 2021, CGDS presented information on the gender spectrum for a group of about 25 medical students. Dr. Lynn Rose, CGDS Director of Research and Disability Studies, spoke about various aspects of gender identity. The webinar, on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity, also featured Ms. Sawen Yasin, a clinical psychologist, who spoke about gender dysphoria. IFMSA, the International Federation of Medical Students Association, founded in 1951, has a membership of over one million medical students worldwide.
