CGDS is delighted to announce that Ms. Sewe Anwar Kader, CGDS Coordinator, has been accepted for graduate study in English-Language Literature at the University of Stockholm, Sweden, one of the world’s top 100 universities. Ms. Sewe holds a Bachelor of Arts (2019) in English Literature from the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani (AUIS). She joined CGDS in late October 2019 as the Administrative Assistant for the European Union Project, having had previous experience working as a Media Monitor for our EU Project. She has a strong passion for gender based causes, experience teaching English to both adults and children, and a talent (among others) for literary analysis. She will begin her master’s program in September 2021. We doubt that CGDS will ever be as efficiently run as it has been under Ms. Sewe‘s watch, but we are happy that she has made this prestigious accomplishment. Many congratulations, Ms. Sewe; we thank you and we wish you all the best.
