CGDS Celebrates World Disability Day by Invitation of the Blind Union of Kurdistan

On December 3, 2020, World Disability Day, CGDS attended a celebration hosted by the Blind Union of Kurdistan. The union’s director, Mr. Hawbash Noaman, thanked their donors, and other representatives of the union distributed coupons for oil. Mr Shanaw Peshraw announced plans for the Blind Union to engage in a program of training and entrepreneurship in the coming year, and encouraged donations to the cause. CGDS Deputy Director Dr. Lynn Rose, Jan Warner Visiting Scholar Mr. Shakir, and CGDS MENA Community Liaison Ms. Tara Burhan attended the event.
