We are pleased to announce that Dr. Susan M. N. Al Naqshband joined our team as a researcher for our UNFPA project. Dr Susan studied Computer Science at al Nahrain University Iraq; after completing her Ph.D., she went to the Netherlands to legalize her diploma in order to lecture at Tilburg University (south of Netherlands) in 2011 as an Assistant Professor. In 2013 she worked at VU University (the Free University) in Amsterdam. After her return to Kurdistan in 2015, she worked for one academic year for Information System Engineering at Erbil Polytechnic University, and in 2016, she became department head at the Lebanese French University, also in Erbil. From January 2017 until September 2019, she served as Vice-President for Scientific Affairs at the International University of Erbil. Dr. Susan is a member of Soroptimist International Worldwide, a women’s organization in the Netherlands. She joined CGDS on August 30, 2020. Please help us welcome Dr. Susan to CGDS and AUIS.
