CGDS Deputy Director to Serve as Judge for Publication Award

Dr. Lynn Rose has accepted the appointment to serve as a judge for the Disability History Association’s 2020 Outstanding Article or Book Chapter Award. The award is open to authors writing across all geographic areas and time periods. The publication must be in English, and with first publication taking place between January 1 and December 31, 2019. The Disability History Association (DHA) is an international non-profit organization that promotes the study of disabilities throughout history. This includes, but is not limited to, the history of individuals or groups with disabilities, perspectives on disability, representations/ constructions of disability, policy and practice history, teaching, theory, and Disability and related social and civil rights movements. Dr. Lynn is a lifetime member of the organization.
