With our new UNFPA project that aims to increase gender equity in Kurdistan-Iraq, CGDS is pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Hamno Nawzad Abdullah to our team. Mr. Hamno is from Tawella, Hawraman, near Sulaimani. He joined CGDS in September 2020 as a finance assistant. He has a B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Economics from the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani. He has worked as an accountant at an oilfield services company, keeping records, and preparing reports and financial statements. He has also worked as a research assistant for a PhD candidate, translating and interpreting interviews, reviewing relevant literature, and establish and maintain contact with people relevant to the research topic. His favorite part about CGDS is being a part of a dynamic and proactive team that is very helpful and collaborative. “Every day that you contribute,” he says, “serves as an opportunity to learn and develop.” Please help us welcome Mr. Hamno to CGDS!
