By invitation of the University of Oulu, Finland, and the University of Bamberg, Germany, Dr. Lynn Rose, CGDS Deputy Director, served as an Expert Participant in “Accessibility: Building Education Towards a Sustainable World.” The workshop, the 2021 iteration of “Burning Questions,” was held on January 21-22, 2021. International participants discussed questions of wellbeing for students with special education needs, with attention to new needs brought about by the COVID pandemic. A variety of workshops, presentations, and panels culminated in recommendations for improvements in accessibility in Special Education.
