On the 23rd of October, 2020, Dr. Choman Hardi, CGDS Director, Dr. Lynn Rose, CGDS Deputy Director, Mr. Shko Shwan, EU Project Manager, and Mr. Arez Taha, CGDS Project Coordinator, met with Florin G. Seudin, Director General of Diwan, Amal Jalal, General Manager, and others from the KRG High Council for Women’s Affairs. The meeting focused on informing the Council about CGDS’ EU Project and how CGDS wishes to aid in the further development of Gender Studies in the region. Furthermore, Dr. Hardi proposed to them the possibility of a workshop for the Gender Center Directors in the Ministry of Higher Education. CGDS expressed their intentions of coordinating with the Council as they support the gender centers in Kurdistan.
