On Wednesday, February 12th, 2020, CGDS hosted a workshop on sexual harassment awareness for AUIS students, staff, and faculty which was provided by SEED Foundation. The presenters, Ms. Eman Nasih Hamadameen and Mr. Hunar Assaf Sadiq, covered the definitions and circumstances of sexual harassment, provided examples and short films, and discussed what victims and witnesses can do, such as calling 119. About 25 people attended, many of whom contributed to the insightful discussion that followed the presentation.
