On Wednesday, January 27 2021, representatives from the Blind Union visited the offices of CGDS. Together we talked about the economic empowerment of people with disabilities—both the challenges and some possible solutions, and we agreed to continue to work together for a better society. Mr. Shanaw Peshraw, the legal consultant for the Blind Union, was joined by Mr. Bryar Raauf, a member of the Cottage NGO. Mr. Rebwar Ali was also present. Dr. Lynn Rose, CGDS Deputy Director, and Ms. Tara Burhan, EU MENA Community Coordinator, hosted the group.
