Dr. Lynn Rose, CGDS Deputy Director and Professor in the Social Sciences, has had a paper accepted for presentation at the 4th World Disability & Rehabilitation Conference 2019 (WDRC 2019), to be held in Bangkok, Thailand, in November 2019. The paper, “Disability Perceptions and Policy in Sulaimani, Kurdistan,” links the systems of education and politics against the background of the international disability rights movement. Dr. Lynn has been a scholar of disability studies for over 25 years, and is active in teaching issues of disability as part of CGDS´ emphasis on diversity.
